SiteSell Announces Launch of Spam 'n Virus Blast It!

Today SiteSell.com announces the launch of the newest Site Build It! (SBI!) module, "Spam 'n Virus Blast It!" ("SVBI!"). Free to all SBI! clients, SVBI! provides a unique combination of automation, manual over-ride control and challenge-response technology that together yields effective spam/unsolicited bulk e-mail and virus protection.

Spam 'n Virus Blast It! is divided into two sections, E-mail Account Management and Whitelist Management (i.e., a dynamic list of acceptable senders). In order for e-mail to reach a user, the sender must mail to an existing E-mail Account from an address that is on the user's Whitelist. All other mail is refused, with one exception. In the case of legitimate senders who are not currently on the Whitelist, SVBI! sends out a refusal message that includes a one-time Whitelist registration URL. A Graphic-Challenge ensures that no automated process can circumvent the registration.

Spam and Virus Blast It! automatically adds/updates the user's Whitelist while allowing the user to micro-manage both his or her E-mail Accounts and Whitelist. Users also have the option to turn off Whitelist-filtering until they need it. SVBI! offers extensive online guidance to ensure correct implementation.
