SiteSell Releases MYSS! 2002 Into The Public Domain

MYSS! 2002, The "Net-Selling Bible," Is Now Free!

Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Internet sales guru and president of SiteSell, Ken Evoy, has released his best-selling e-book, "Make Your Site Sell! (MYSS!) 2002", into the public domain.

The original 1999 publication, which was hailed as the "Internet selling Bible," sold more than 100,000 copies before being rewritten in 2002. Evoy is giving away his seminal work as a promotion for the Web content delivery service that MYSS! evolved into, Site Build It! (SBI!).

SBI! turns Internet business on its head. Rather than building a site and hoping for the best, SBI! provides the process and tools to fully research the viability of an online business, before a single word, template or line of code is committed to the task of building it.

Much of the information in MYSS! 2002 is as relevant today as when it was first written. Evoy decided not to further update MYSS!, because he realized that his words were generating a demand that was not being met by the market.

Instead, in SBI! he developed a set of tools that would demystify the technical hurdles of e-commerce and allow anybody with the desire to 'make their site sell' to achieve their goals. As Evoy puts it, "Information, even if it's the best, is not enough on its own. People need the tools and guidance to execute that information. That's what SBI! provides. If MYSS! was the 'why,' it evolved into the 'how' that is SBI!."

MYSS! argues that in the current, free-to-enter online marketplace, it's still possible for anybody to compete on a level playing field with big corporations. Indeed, Evoy claims, the small e-business person has advantages that a large company's spending power cannot easily compensate for.

"Web site owners are beginning to realize that keyword-focused content delivery, PREselling and overdelivering the requirements of their visitors is the key to success in a online niche market. Often there's a living to be made from a niche which large companies wouldn't consider worthy of their attention."
